Crisp Bornholm Wheat Cracker

The present master baker’s grandfather introduced the now famous rye crackers with caraway seeds back in 1924. Today these crackers are exported to a number of countries, including Japan, the US, Switzerland, Norway and Sweden.
Since then the assortment has been enlarged to include a wholewheat cracker (2005) and a piquant rye cracker (2007), both of which are now popular products.
The addition of the Bornholm Wheat Cracker completes the assortment from the renowned bakery in Aakirkeby.
The wheat crackers – baked with Bornholm wheat and wholemeal flour – have a full-bodied taste of grain with just a touch of vanilla.
The Bornholm Wheat Crackers are very crisp: each cracker comprises 27 thin layers and, as much of the process is done by hand, almost no two crackers are completely alike.
The crackers are an ideal accompaniment with a bite of cheese after dinner or a cup of coffee or tea.
